Movies in the park are fun for everyone. I mean, who can pass up relaxing on the green, eating snacks and watching a movie on the big screen? Especially now that going to the movies isn’t affordable for many families, it’ refreshing to see movies being offered for free. We like to the Atlantic Station movies in the park event because of the great restaurant choices at Atlantic Station. We have an early dinner then watch the movie.

This summer parks around the city are hosting outdoor movie screenings. Most venues allow attendees to bring food and even alcohol as long as it isn’t in a glass container. But you should check with the park for their particular rules if you have any questions.

Most showings begin at dusk or around 8 p.m. However, many parks have free activities early in the afternoon, prior to the movie.
